It's making excessive noise!

It could be the motor bearing


Noise is the biggest giveaway of a motor issue. If there is a consistent 'whirring' or any excess noise, it can be an indicator that the motor bearing is faulty or broken.

This can sometimes fail and will need to be replaced.

My ventilation unit is leaking

Are the pipes insulated?

Exhaust and intake duct requires insulation to stop condensation forming inside the duct - can you see this at the top of your unit?

Is something blocked?

Valves and grilles can become clogged which can prevent airflow.
