A total of 376 units were installed at The Perfume Factory development by Telford Homes, including first fix, second fix and commissioning to Approved Document F (domestic ventilation compliance certificates)

MVHR units with integrated NOx filters were specified due to air quality planning conditions from ground to level 3 of the new devleopment.  Activated carbon filters were required to capture toxic emissions from supply air.

MVHR - Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery
MVHR Heat Recovery Ventilation is whole house ventilation system ideal for energy efficient residential properties offering conintuous extract of stale, moisture ladden air and replacement with new fresher filtered air.  As air is extracted, it is passed through a heat exchanger which recovers heat which is then re-used in the new, replacement supply air.  The heat recovery process helps temper incoming air, and reduce heating requirements to the property.  During summer months a 'Summer Bypass' mode automatically stops the heat recovery process, whilst the continuous airflow is maintained helping keep the environment cool and comfortable. All new replacement air is also passed through filters. 

NOx Filtration - Air Quality Planning Condition
The Mitsubishi Lossnay is a compact MVHR unit is designed to meet the airflow requirements of a property up to 150m2 and delivers up to 90% heat recovery efficiency.   The unit comes with ultra quiet noise levels, summer by-pass and a digital controller for ease of commissioning and control.  The unique optional 3rd filter slot located on the unit allows high grade optional particulate matter filtering including ePM2.5 and NOx - a unuqie benefit, unlike any other residential MVHR Unit
