What's wrong with my unit?


Motor Failure

The inside of a unit can quickly and easily become clogged with grease, dust, and moisture. 

This happens if the unit not serviced annually, this can usually be heard through loud noises coming from the unit, the motor can be easily replaced.


Steam Isn't Clearing

If steam isn't clearing after cooking, showering, etc... this is a sign your unit is overdue a service.

The extract valves should be clearing excess steam, moisture, and humidity, if they're not it's a sign something isn't running as it should!


Stuck In Boost

If your unit is stuck in boost, this is also usually a PCB-related issue (if the unit is louder than usual, this is a sign it's running in boost).

You can have your unit checked and if there is an issue with the PCB, it can easily be replaced.


Unit PCB Failure

The PCB is also referred to as 'The Brain' of an MVHR unit, it controls the unit.

You can be notified by an error code on the MVHR unit, some other signs are if the unit stops working suddenly and airflow in and out of the unit stops.

It is recommended that the MVHR units are serviced annually to ensure good airflow performance and to help lengthen the life of unit (the systems are moving a lot of air and quickly become clogged with dust and debris!)
